Rich attended Ohio Wesleyan University earning a B.A. degree in Physical Education in 1991. He then attended Touro College in Dix Hills, NY, earning a MA in Physical Therapy and a B.S. in Health Sciences in 1994. He has been a staff therapist at Nassau County Medical Center as well as Director of Sports Rehab Network in West Hampton. In 2000, he opened Longwood Sports Therapy in Coram, NY. He then expanded to an additional facility, Island Physical Therapy & Wellness, in Port Jefferson in 2007. Rich provides physical therapy services at two Sunrise Assisted Living Facilities. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the APTA Long Island Chapter. Rich specializes in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. He played professional lacrosse with the New York Saints from 1991-1996 and in February 2011, he was inducted into the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Hall of Fame for his outstanding lacrosse career. When not spending time with his wife and four children, Rich volunteers as a soccer and lacrosse coach for local youth groups.
A former collegiate athlete, Lisa played soccer and Division 1 softball for the University of Delaware. She then received a Master in Physical Therapy from Touro College. Prior to joining our staff, she worked as a physical therapist at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in inpatient rehab, acute care and the outpatient department. Lisa is excited about returning to work alongside her husband at their practices.

Our very efficient MJ has been with us from the beginning – over 10 years. She not only oversees the day-to-day operations at both facilities, she also handles all our medical billing and insurance issues. She is the proud mother of 3 children and has been married to John for nearly 30 years.
